About hiring a shadow teacher in Dubai
Sumaya is a verified shadow teacher offering one-to-one learning support in Dubai. Sumaya supports children who need help with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Early Childhood Teacher and Child Safeguarding, working inside mainstream classrooms rather than pulling them out of the group.
Sumaya delivers support in English. Day to day, Sumaya works with your child's class teacher and the school's inclusion team, following the Individualised Education Plan (IEP) so lessons stay accessible without singling the child out.
Support by need
Sumaya lists autism among the areas they support. For an autistic child that usually means preparing them for transitions, keeping a visual schedule to hand, managing sensory load in a busy room and prompting peer interaction without taking it over.

What does Sumaya specialise in?
Sumaya's listed areas of support are Special Educational Needs (SEN), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Early Childhood Teacher and Child Safeguarding. In class, that means coordinating with the class teacher and following your child's Individualised Education Plan (IEP) so the support fits the lesson.

Sumaya supports children in English. Bilingual shadow teachers are especially useful for Emirati families and international schools running an Arabic stream.
Can Sumaya support a child with autism?
Yes. Autism is among the areas Sumaya lists, so Sumaya is used to the classroom side of that support. For an autistic child that usually means preparing them for transitions, keeping a visual schedule to hand, managing sensory load in a busy room and prompting peer interaction without taking it over. Share your child's latest reports or Individualised Education Plan before the first session so the support starts from where the school already is.
